Alumni Cycle Ride

alumni superheroes

Itching for another cycling challenge and the opportunity to reunite, this Easter past cycle tour alumni are planning to tour again!

From the 27th March to 11th April, a group of 4-14 inspired alumni will be peddlin' hard from Land's End to John O'Groats for the fun of it and to fundraise for Otesha! Some are going all the way (the hard core four) Whilst others are joining for legs (and arms and smily faces). We'll be stopping in to preview a few of the summer tour locations, cooking and eating as a community and reviving our superhero alter egos (check out our chat about superhero day on the original Wild West tour, in Journal 4)!

The route and finding places to crash...

We'll be passing through Land's End, Tavistock, Taunton, Stroud, Tamworth, Sheffield, Ripon, Hexham, Hawick, Edinburgh, Pitlochry, Carrbridge, Carbidsdale, Tongue and John O'Groat. If you happen to know of any places for between 4 and 14 people to crash please get in touch with Carla (carla@otesha.org.uk). Take a look at our route (triangles are where we need places!):

 Sponsorship and raising some cash...

This month we are busy planning activities and getting sponsorship for our efforts. Collectively we want to raise thousands for Otesha and are doing a variety of extra activities to raise it. So far we have been organising activity days, baking cakes, selling flapjacks and planning parties!

If you'd like to support our team's fundraising efforts please visit our Bmycharity pages! Right now you can donate to Nick, Gemma and Carla!

  Thank you
