Workshops
Cycle tour members also deliver interactive workshops that explore some of the issues brought up in the Otesha play in greater depth.
We really enjoy running these workshops, since they spark thoughts and discussion about the impacts of our daily choices, both positive or negative, and hopefully they’re a bit inspiring too!
The workshops match very closely with the citizenship and geography curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4. In each of the workshops we examine the global impacts of our everyday actions.
Our current workshops are:
- Grow Your Own - about the food chain
- Recycled Fashion - about the fashion industry
- Admania - analysing the media
- The Great Banana Chain Game - about Fairtrade
- Unplugged - a school wide energy audit
- Bike Maintenance - on Bike Maintenance and sustainable travel options
If you have any questions, or to book any of the workshops, please contact Hanna Thomas (hanna@otesha.org.uk).
